DMX Construction was appointed to deliver a complete turn-key fit-out for the new MojoBeds retail store in one of Polokwane’s major shopping centres. The project involved full demolition of the previous tenant’s shop interior back to the structural shell, followed by a comprehensive build-out tailored to MojoBeds’ modern retail concept and high-traffic requirements.

Key scope items included:

• Complete strip-out and debris removal of the former shop
• Installation of durable, high-traffic porcelain floor tiles throughout the sales area
• Construction of new drywalls to create defined display zones, storage areas and staff facilities
• Full suspended ceiling grid system with integrated lighting and acoustic considerations
• Skim plastering of selected walls using Rhinolite for a smooth, paint-ready finish
• Complete electrical installation including new DB, sub-circuiting, power points and connection of cash-desk POS systems
• Installation of premium commercial-grade wallpaper as the main feature wall treatment
• Supply and installation of modern LED light panels for bright, even illumination
• Minor plumbing works (sinks, drainage points) and final pressure testing
• Issuing of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) for the electrical installation

The project was completed on a tight 13-day programme (9 Feb – 21 Feb 2026) with careful coordination to minimise disruption in the active mall environment. The finished store now presents a clean, contemporary retail space aligned with the MojoBeds brand, ready to deliver an excellent customer experience from day one.
